iTAGG service settings

To configure your iTAGG to deliver ringtones using our service please follow these simple steps:

1. Register your iTAGG.

You should select either:

2. Enable the SMS responder and the URL forwarder functions on your iTAGG or your chosen keyword.

You can do this for the main iTAGG or for any keyword you choose. In this example we are configuring the subkeyword "poly" on myitagg:

Do check that other functions are not enabled (unless you really want them to be)

3. Configure the SMS Auto-Responder

This is how you earn your revenue. You can also take this opportunity to promote your brand or deliver some other message to your users.

You should set the cost to the user to £1.00 less than you publish on your website. This is because we will send a premium wap push for which the user will be charged £1.00.

4. Configure the URL forwarder

Leave the email section blank and enter our service address in the URL forwarding box:

OK all of that and try sending a test message to your itagg:

myiTAGG myword test

You should receive your SMS auto response and a service indicator / push message which links to a test page from which you can download a sample ringtone.

Now you need only publish a list of ringtones on your site together with instructions on how users can purchase them.

In our example users would text myitagg poly 680472 to 60300 to receive the "Ghostbusters" polyphonic ringtone.

If we hadn't used the subkeyword "poly" they would text myitagg 680472 to 60300.
